In the village of Malia in the province of Limassol, through the picturesque graphic streets, stands a small complex called "Cecilia’s Courtyard", renovated in recent years.
Forty years ago, after the Turkish invasion at the Northen part of Cyprus, Cecilia and Xanthos, her husband, left Famagusta searching for their lost paradise and ended up in the small house in Malia.
With the power of love that brought them together, with much imaginativeness and originality, they once again created their lost paradise, where they live the most beautiful summers of there lives. In recent years Cecilia’s Courtyard has yet again been lovingly restored by Vassilia Sergiou to create beautiful self contained apartments in a traditional style but with modern day conveniences around the original courtyard.
